Career mentoring for young talents and scientists
in the framework of our
International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS)
Physics and Medicine
If you are an IMPRS-PM PI and want to support young scientists in developing their potential, then join us as IMPRS-PM mentor!
Structure of the mentoring program:
- Duration 12 months
- 3 obligatory meetings; if more are necessary, they can be executed flexibly on a voluntary basis
- 1st month: “get-to-know” meeting
- 5th month: “timeline” meeting (The student is expected to draft a study plan to structure his/her master and discuss it in detail with the mentor.)
- 12th month: “outlook” meeting (A last meeting to wrap up, adjust the study plan and talk about future possibilities and perspectives.)
